WORST PLACE TO LIVE EVER!!!! 1 - your neighbors will constantly ring your buzzer to let them in. They do not care if you work nights and that they are bothering you. Constantly had someone buzzing my buzzer to be let in which made me anxious all day long. 2- drug use in the building. Needles outside on the ground. Burnt foil by the stairs in the hallways. A guy was always outside in his garage or on his bike doing drugs. 3- maintenance is non existent or come without notice. Water gets shut off without notice. Parking lot and sidewalks would either never be shoveled or plowed or came days later after it’s all turned to ice. 4- anyone and everyone parked in my parking spot which made it impossible for me to get out of my garage. Updated 9/29: Everyone says to avoid Goldmark, and this apartment is a prime example of that. I previously lived in this building for a year. The only upside is the in-unit laundry. Here is a comprehensive list of all of the reasons you should not live here or live at any apartment managed by the Goldmark Danbury Apartment Office. 1. When given the move-in tour, our guide, Denise, stated that the building was smoke-free. All of the regular apartment hunting websites also state that it is smoke-free. The apartment is NOT smoke free and the hallways will sometimes reek of weed. 2. Many of the wood fixtures and cabinetry have not been updated in years. Maintenance is abysmal, our bathroom was near spotless this morning and there was a leak from our upstairs neighbors so maintenance cut a hole in our ceiling to drain water which is fine; however, they left our bathroom looking like this and didn't clean up after themself at all. On top of that package theft runs rampant here and property management still refuses to get cameras and they don't salt the parking lot at all past the sidewalks.
