Management changes here before you can blink. In the 3 years I lived there I've noticed at least 8 different companies each one more worst than the last. Nothing gets fixed unless you call the city and they breathe fire down their backs. The city has condemned multiple buildings. You get what you pay for I guess 😣 the last management promised to do better. Hope so.

I am taking a break from apartment hunting to write this review. Hawthorne Hall used to be a pleasant place to live. In recent years, there has been high turnover with the management companies. It is now managed by COVENANT PROPERTY SERVICES, and they have been by far the worst I have ever experienced!!!!! There is no longer on-site management. Their "corporate office" is located at The Flats at Ginter Park Apartments, 3211 Chamberlayne Avenue, Richmond Virginia 23227. Feel free to google them. They were featured on the news for negligence, not much has changed since. "Tabitha," the regional property manager, is never available and never returns phone calls. This company sends a clear message that they are highly disorganized and only care about collecting rent. They think it

By far the worst managment ive ever had to deal with. They talk a good game but dont take care of there residents that pay rent. Ive had a bedbug and roach infestation for 6 months and they refuse totreat it or rehome/ 6put me in a motel. Ive had to miss weeks of work waiting for them to come spray and everytime the refused to show up amd refused totreat my apartment nor the building. Most of there properties are trashed and most units are infested and should be condemned. Forget about maitenance thats a joke they dont take care of ANY problems and if you call for an EMERGENCY maitenance issue it will take about 6-18 months to have it fixed INCORRECTLY BY SOMEBODY COMPLETELY UNDERQUALIFIED. STAY FAR AWAY FROM DWELL RICHMOND THEY ENDANGER AND MANIPULATE AND SCAM THEIR TENANTS. DONT EVER MO

Worst apartment communities in Richmond. No matter your problem management NEVER responds and the maintenance staff are a joke.The manager Tabitha cares nothing for the residents and does not return calls and if you visit the office she will not talk to you. Hands down the worst place ever.

The conditions of the apartments are terrible. If you have any issues that need to be resolved by maintenance it will never be taken care of. I've had a leak in my roof for five months and they still expected rent.
