I called about a rental 2 months ago. I have an excellent credit score and impeccable references from my last landlord where I lived for 10 years! The woman I spoke to wouldn't even talk to me, and was very abrupt because I didn't make two and a half times the rent because I am on social security now and a senior. How was I supposed to know? The ad was on Trulia, and the guidelines have now been posted. They are supposed to be an equal housing opportunity according to them. Seniors need to have flexible ways to be able to rent. They don't know if I have savings or a portfolio of stocks, they know nothing about my financial picture. Maybe that's why the rental is still there? As for me, I'm going to build my own house. Why try to rent from people who lack the proper judgement. I wish all la

JAS Apartments was a pleasure to rent from. Renting from them simplified our apartment searching process. They had detailed videos and descriptions of all of their available properties. This made finding the right home easy. We felt that renting through them was the most secure and easy process. The property was well maintained and they were readily available to answer questions or maintain the property. There was a sense of community at our apartment/home. After our experience we highly recommend JAS. The team members at JAS were very friendly and professional people, and we are so thankful for our time spent renting from them.

My experience with JAS has been great! Very responsive, great properties, and most importantly they actively work to improve the community. Wish they managed all the houses on my block! I highly recommend them!!! Mark seems to have a knack for finding great staff as all the staff I’ve interacted with have been wonderful, and they seem to find great tenants as my neighbors are great and many have been here a long time. We rented from JAS this past summer and had a nice experience. This was my first apartment and we needed a short term lease for an internship I had in Duluth. They were the only place that could accommodate for this need. They took us on a bunch of tours and helped us schedule times to accommodate the distance we had to travel before we were up in Duluth. We were happy with the apartment. It was just remodeled with a new kitchen and hardwood floors. Some things needed maintenance throughout the summer and they're busy a lot but Dan is wonderful and flexible. Every interaction with Mark and Dan seemed very personal and individual which we appreciated. It was a good starter apartment for us, though I will say also that the bay window on our apartment was so beautiful and opened up so space s
