Drees Custom Homes at Audubon

The neighbors are fantastic however we have had major issues with our Drees home. Immediately after moving in we started experiencing electrical issues, when you run the vacuum all lights in the home stay dim and you can’t run two kitchen appliances at once, then over the course of two years we have lost a dryer, multiple appliances, dehumidifier, air handler, circuit board due to the massive electrical issues in this home. Now this weekend our electric car charger started smoking and the plug melted, this all could have caused a massive house fire. Despite them sending numerous electricians to the home to look at the issues no solution has been provided. On top of the electric issues are the major issues we have had with our flooring bubbling, coming up, transition pieces coming loose.

Dozens of major issues with our home (not talking paint chips or misses although we have those too). Poor communication across the board. Despite supposed mold remediation, mold was still found during our final walkthrough by us, the buyer. Major rusting on the driveway and above windows despite moving in less than 4 months ago. Crooked windows, light fixtures, and walls. Faulty fence that does not fully extend to the ground in places, cracked in others. Chipped sliding door frame. Chipped tiles throughout the home. A staircase that is having large splinters coming off the treads, bubbling finish on banister. Fully regret choosing Drees. Note: This is not a reflection on the neighborhood. I drove through the new entry road. The development is just beginning. The model homes are not yet completed. The should be impressive when they are completed.

No amenities as promised. No timeline. Not worth your money.
