10 GOOD REASONS FOR NOT MOVING IN TO THE DOMINION LAKE RIDGE APARTMENTS Based on my personal experience, 10 reasons for NOT moving to the Dominion Lake Ridge apartments: 1. Overpriced apartments. Too expensive for the quality offered. New developments offer better quality at the same price range. 2. Annual rent increase rates sometimes over 5%. 3. Old buildings (35+ years) with poor vent systems (cigarette, fried food, and dog smells) 4. Poorly insulated apartments (cold during winter, hot during summer) – Cold or hot air infiltrate through old doors and windows. Old HVAC systems for many apartments. Electricity bills will be higher. 5. Disrespectful neighbors (part 1) - late night noises, after 11 pm. I had to call the police but the neighbor kept the music on past midnight just after the

We had an amazing experience with this team during our move-in process. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and on top of every step and detail from beginning to end. Our situation was a bit complicated because we were only able to sign the lease on the actual day of the move due to system issues. We had to come into the office in person, and Chelsea went above and beyond to help us. She was constantly communicating with her team, patiently guiding us through everything, and stayed with us for about three hours until we were finally able to sign the lease and move in. Her dedication, patience, and willingness to do everything possible to help us truly made a stressful situation so much easier. Dealing with billing after move-out was excruciating – they tacked on an unexplained "post-possession rent" charge and then sent a $57.24 "balance" to collections despite technically owing us money per our final balance (which we never received). The smell of weed was consistently present inside our apartment (coming through the walls and floors), and the front office was nearly impossible to reach by phone (we often had to visit in person). The one bright spot was Ernest in maintenance, who was always very kind, helpful, and quick to fix issues. Now that it appears he has left, I cannot think of a good reason to move in at Dominion Lake Ridge.

Maintenance is the only good thing about this place. We will get baby cockroaches every now and then. We are currently dealing with a situation right now with a shattered patio glass door that was damaged by the landscaping company. It has been shattered for a month now and we were told it would only take a few days to replace. But have received zero communication from anybody until we just reached out today. The response we received shows they have absolutely no care and it's unacceptable. This is a safety hazard and we haven't even been able to utilize our patio space. Please avoid this place at all costs!!!

This is the second time I’ve had to write this review. I posted my review about a week ago and it’s suddenly been deleted. I’m going to speak my truth about my experience here so I’m taking the time to write out my review all over again. I’ve lived here for almost a year. We moved in May of 2024 and everything was fine until we realized our stove wasn’t working so we had to purchase our own mini stove in the meantime while maintenance took care of the issue. Then not so long after our refrigerator stopped working, which made all of our food go bad. We got a deduction off our rent for those issues which we appreciated. Then to top that off, after the stove and refrigerator situation was fixed our A.C stopped working.. it was a very hot summer and imagine the only temporary resolution was a
