I originally toured with a man and the interaction was so negative I did not want to live there at all. Even on the phone, his customer service was lackluster at best. HOWEVER, Alexandria helped to completely turn things around! Allie is wonderful, very knowledgeable. She is fantastic! She is honest, very patient, respectful, quick to respond, and just everything you want in a leasing agent. She should absolutely be promoted to a property manager. Thanks to her, we got others to tour there as well and are picking a unit. If booking a tour, definitely ask to tour with her for a great experience!

My partner & I applied here last year. The entire process was ridiculous to say the least, the incompetence of the office staff is unbelievable, I’m truly shocked they are still employed. They took our money for the application fees, $400 to be exact, part of that was to “hold the unit” while they did the check which they were too lazy to do themselves, so my partner & I had to email our previous landlords, jobs, references etc & forward it to them. Not sure what the $400 was for if we did most of the work.. Eric had the nastiest attitude out of all of the staff we worked with, he had excuses as to why the application was taking so long or why they kept asking for the same documents repeatedly even after promising we were approved for the unit. I would advise against moving here at all costs. The apartments in building 18 offer zero insulation. As a single person working > 60 hrs per week at the hospital and only coming home to sleep, my energy bill was absurd with my AC set to 70 (photo attached). Most frustrating of all is the front office - they are minimally responsive. My lease ended 8/14, I was told they had 30 days to return my security deposit. As of today, I do not have my deposit despite being told it had been mailed when I called 2 weeks ago. The office is no longer answering my emails.

I lived there for a year, then had to extend for a few months. I didn’t have any choice but to extend. The only pro I can mention is EJ, the manager—she was very respectful and nice to me, and I never had any issues with her. I really respect her and the way she handled my concerns throughout my stay at Dobson Mills. Cons: A LOT. I lived in building 45, which was the worst place anyone could ever live. That building should be taken down and rebuilt. Just DO NOT MOVE THERE. I cannot speak for the other buildings, but 45 is very, very old. All the appliances are outdated (30+ years in place), and the insulation is nonexistent. My neighbor was extremely rude and unreasonable. I called and spoke with a gentleman over the phone about the newer buildings that they built . I was trying to come to an understanding of their processes before I waste time to schedule a tour . The gentleman’s personality was horrible . If that’s who you want to represent your company, you will have a hard time filling all of those open slots . Thanks but NO thanks
