I lived at 3833 N Broadway for 2 years and had an ongoing issue with leaks, water, and flooding the entire time I was there (I doubt it has been fixed). Management would enter, spend the entire day drying out the floor underneath the LVPs with loud fans, leave and pretend the issue was "resolved". Same thing would happen again every 2-3 months after the next heavy rain or snowmelt. Water would also come in through the walls in multiple areas of my unit, and the drywall would need to be replaced. Because of this I recommend NOT living in unit 704. There's also a limit on the number of guests you can have over to enjoy the rooftop - this was NOT outlined in my original lease nor was it relayed to me before signing. In fact, I SPECIFICALLY asked if there was a guest limit for using the ameni
Truly a terrible management company. We were tenants for 2 years, and our rent increased $600 since then. $50 after our first lease and then second increase was so ridiculous and we moved to another apartment with triple the space for almost the same price! Absurd rent increase for a shitty apartment and a management company that won’t answer the phone. They respond extremely aggressively almost every time you contact them. The move out process has been a headache solely because they are so rude! Just look at the recents reviews left here and see how aggressive their responses are to people telling them they suck as a management company. You can find much better in Chicago. An 800 square foot apartment with tiny bedrooms is nowhere near worth $2800, so please continue searching because you
I started off having a great experience speaking to Rose about an apartment I was interested in and was very transparent about my situation. I asked her if they accepted a cosigner and she said yes. Then I got to see the apartment which Paul showed me and then ask him again. Will they let me know if I need to add a cosigner? he said yes. I loved the apartment and applied immediately, went through all the steps necessary then got an email saying I was denied. I called the office and email the leasing department to ask if I can add cosigner, all of a sudden they told me that apartment doesn't take Cosigners. I was so upset and disappointed that they led me on to believe that I would be told and at the end they both lied about the cosigner. My recommendation is to carefully consider paying 85
Awful company to work with. Rose is very rude and will deny you help or service if there is any minor inconvenience. After she was very rude in person, I asked her to send me information on the properties I was interested in (I was pre approved with DLG, paid $60 or so for the application fees and the original DLG property I signed on fell through do to matters out of my hands). After rolling her eyes, she said she would follow up with me tomorrow and never did. I called her for days in a row and the calls went ignored, where they were previously answered in a timely matter. She completely refused to help a prospective (and already approved) tenant. You would think a company in the business of renting out apartments would jump at the opportunity to fill empty apartments? This felt like a s
I love how this company claims that “no additional inquiries were recieved” when my phone logs show that I called your company 8 times over the course of 4 days to inquire about a different apartment and I was sent straight to voicemail every time. Also, gaslighting a prospective customer by saying they “demanded” to enter your office is the most unproffesional thing I have ever heard. I had simply walked past the office, noticed that it was the same company I was approved with and saw that they had some listings on the window, so I thought “let me press the intercom and see if anyone is available to speak with.” Rose then approached myself and my family outside and they can attest that I was nothing but kind, calm and simply inquiring about an apartment since my previous lease with DLG wa
