Putting it here so others don’t have to go through what we’re experiencing. They will gladly collect their brokers fee and will not respond to your requests and complaints even after multiple follow ups.

Lived at 1 Bank St in Manhattan for 2.5 years. Agree the management is hard to get ahold of by phone or email. Left questions about my final lease renewal unanswered until 45 days before lease ended (legal is 90 days notice for over 2 years) and finally came back with a massive rent hike ($950 per month) after pandemic deal was eliminated. Only until I sent around 10 messages to both Vridiana at the leasing dept and the nonexistent point-of-contact building manager Ronald Cromwell notice that I was moving out and jumped to making sure we exchanged keys. Really slept on getting a new tenant in (aka lost rent) in a high-rent and desirable neighborhood. Whoops. Been now 6 weeks and ignoring requests for security deposit or even an update. Will have to file complaint with DHCR to try to get

These people will literally never respond to anything you send them. And be assured, they WILL give you issues that you will need to contact them about, such as overcharging and even double-charging for rent. I am currently attempting to contact them about an issue with their site that is attempting to double-charge me rent for July, and in over 3 weeks I have heard absolutely nothing from them. Phone calls go straight to voicemail, emails are ignored, etc. Now August rent is "overdue," and I cannot pay it because it is forcing me to also pay the double charge for July. You would think that with money on the line, they would actually want to respond. But no -- These people are so massively inept, that even if it costs them money, they will not respond to you. Do not rent from this management company. Every person in the office is impossible to contact, apartment problems (lack of hot water, roaches, etc.) were never resolved, and it took nearly 2 months after vacating the apartment to receive the security deposit back.

This management company is a sham. Works with law enforcement to allow harassment, video monitoring of tenant apartments and also allows transients to roam free in their buildings without taking any action . Complaints are ignored. Transients are utilized to monitor tenant activities.
