Promised NASCAR tickets, numerous other lies. Never received anything. Don't do business with them. I own a timeshare with Global Discovery Vacations. My ex owns this timeshare. Scams, dishonest. They should've gone out of business with Covid. Glad I own a timeshare from an honest company, not them.

We spent about 7hrs at this timeshare presentation on 4/1/24. Which took away from our family vacation. I ended up purchasing the timeshare. Paid in full over 21k. We were promised dinner & they would then put us up at their Cancun Resort complimentary for 3days and 2nights to make up the time lost with our children and to do a new memberst orientation so we extended our trip. Next day its they working on it. Then the instead sent us a txt they were putting us at a different place not what they promised. I explained that not what they promised. They then explained they do not put new owners at their resorts for free. Again not what they sold us in the meeting. I told them well because of their deception now I am questioning a timeshare with them. And since I was within my grace period was

Really atrocious customer service. Really hard to even get decent contact info for customer support. Policy for my reservation had no cancelation OR CHANGE so when my business trip plans had to change and I wanted to move a day from the start to the end of the reservation I was told I can add the day on the end but not remove a day from the beginning. Really??? I'm giving you many weeks notice and you're going to deny me that? Then when I missed that first night which I told them I could not make they cancelled my entire reservation, really ruined my trip. Be very very careful when booking anything with Diamond Resorts, I never will again, that's for sure.

Be careful! We did not receive an invoice for maintenance fees so when I was notified I was past due, I paid it promptly including $130 in late fees. Due to our excellent payment history and a 10 year+ owner of 2 timeshares, I requested they consider a one time courtesy credit. Three phone calls, a letter and an email later, they refused to waive them, even after the customer service rep admitted other members did not receive an invoice. Most companies will honor such requests, but not Diamond resorts. If you want to deal with a great company, go to Marriott for your timeshare needs. Very dissatisfied with how Diamond Resorts handled this situation!

I was approved for a mutual release with Diamond Resorts. They rescinded the offer and put this in probate. I have been trying to get a hold of someone for months now and NO ONE will respond to me! I just need them to assist me and they are ignoring my requests for a call back. I would not recommend Diamond Resorts to anyone. They continue to mislead people and they are terrible with communication! I urge you not to engage in their timeshare tactics.
