Living in my studio apartment at 111 East Ave in Rochester NY was an overall okay experience, the pool was nice during the summer (when it was open, but it was opened over a month late), it was also convenient having a small gym in the building. My one star review comes from the hassle of receiving my security deposit return in a timely manner. I moved out at the end of August, 3 and 1/2 months later I still have not received my security deposit, nor has there been any word as to when I will be receiving it. I have called, emailed and even gone into the management office only to get the run around or a generic response saying it should be resolved soon. I was told up to 8 weeks of moving out that I would get my check, this week marks 15 weeks since moving out. I can not recommend ANY of t
I lived at 111 east ave. The move out date was Jan 31st and no one has been able to let me know when I am going to receive my Deposit. Based on the past reviews it seems to be a trend with the company. I feel bad for the office at 111 east because they have had to deal with me calling every day. However based on all of the reviews and no one receiving their deposit in a timely manner, I am going to report this to the attorney generals office if i do not receive the check by the end of this week. Since Rochester is currently having issues with Landlords taking advantage of tenants I am sure this will go over well for them. Here is a tip for the company, if you cant afford to reimburse your tenants their deposits maybe you should check your business plan.
I lived at the Clover Crossing, Manchester, NY location for ten months. My stay there was ordinary and fine with little complaints. I moved out at the end of July and have yet to receive my deposit check. I was told my the property manager that my move out was perfect with no issues. I have been calling the office at the location and Scott Gonyo with DHD Ventures for the last two months. Scott has never once returned my calls or messages. I have been told by the office that they are having issues with the NC office and they only cut checks on Thursdays. Whatever the issue, this surely doesn't match up with the Founder, Jason Teller's "philosophy of determination and diligence, while building excellent client relationships to ensure the continued success". I will be pursuing small claims co
I lived at one of the properties for 3 years. I never called with issues because my husband and I fixed them ourselves. We paid our rent up 3 and 4 months in advance. Never any noise disruption kept the ground outside clean mowed our own grass, we were more tan the ideal tentant. When we moved out we mopped the floors down, washed the walls and fixed any holes that were there due to nails from hanging pictures. It looked better when we moved out then when we moved in. About 3 months before we moved, we had a leak in our ceiling that ruined our leather couch that we asked to get fixed. We were told that a bunch of the maintenance men had quite and they were short staffed and they would eventually fix it. They never fixed it and we were charged for the damage when we moved out. I wouldn'
Don’t bother. These are my experiences from the button lofts. Management was horrible. Walls are so thin you can’t even enjoy tv at night without complaints from neighbors. Appliances break, and it’s imposisble to contact anyone. My fridge water dispenser was broken for my whole lease. I was on the top floor, paid extra per month to be up there. Soon regretted that. Multiple times during the winter months, I woke up to the roof leaking and puddles of water in my kitchen, living room and bedroom. Another awesome thing about the button lofts is the mail room. Numerous packages of mine have been stolen, with absolutely no assistance from management. They claim they will check the cameras ( they don’t ) and then they never get back to you. Crazy thing to worry about in a “high end” building. T
