Dexter Horton Building

I was able to work with some great attorneys, paralegals, assistants, etc. in this beautiful building for almost 3 years. With a dedicated staff of professionals who defend the people who otherwise could not afford to defend themselves. King County Department of Public Defense does a great job and they are located in this historic and beautiful downtown Seattle building. Great architecture and located just 2 blocks from the King County Superior Court building.

Typical clean, outdated government building that houses the Department of Public Defense. The elevators must be original from the day the building was built. They also seem to move slower than a snail's pace, and seem to be only able to hold one person as they are incredibly small (and slow). There are two different entrances depending on what street you enter the building from, which can be confusing to navigate.

Well the reason that I was there I'm definitely not proud of but to see the old bank and what it had become was really cool because a lot of the craftsmanship is still there to this day what a great building

Jacob Walsh is by far the best public defender I have ever had represent me. He put in work for my case and I can't. Thank him enough.

The secret dance club in the basement is off the hook. Go down the stairs, security will, "stop" you but just explain you're there to "party" and they'll let you through. Surprisingly, the club has some of the best french fries in the city. Try the Dumpster Sauce, it's their secret dip and it's divine. After dancing up a storm, a big plate of crispy fries really hits the spot. Open 24 hours, it's a great place to head after the bars close.
