Devonshire by Pulte Homes

My wife and I are currently having a home built by Pulte. So far so good. We also choose to finance through Pulte mortgage. They gave us a great mortgage rate, and plenty of incentives towards the purchase. The house is really coming together quickly! There were a few bumps due to material shortages... But Pulte made upgraded changes on our behalf, and spared any extra costs so that our home would still remain on schedule. I don't know too many home builders that will do that.

I came in to see the layout of the house and fell in love with the community. I was told the full price of the model was $276k but Pulte offered additional upgrades at an additional cost. I came back the next day with my family to view the home with the intent to purchase only to find out I was given the wrong information. I was okay with paying additional to have my house mirror the model home no matter the cost. The main sales consultant was very rude and short. She was the only rep in the home to assist us. Anytime we spoke to her she made it clear that she was not supposed to be at work that day and we would have to make an appointment to speak with her. She refused to answer questions directly and would not tell me what on the model home was upgraded. I dont understand why she even c

Stood in the model for 30 minutes waiting for a sales person to help us and there was nobody in the house. We may go back if we decided to build but first impressions weren't good with nobody there and 3 families inside all waiting to be helped.
