Desert Lakes Apartments

Especially considering where these apartments are. I do think Desert Lakes deserves a 5 star rating. They maintain well and if you need anything fixed they are quick and efficient. The staff is great and they communicate openly.

I have lived at this complex since 1998. This is at two different apartments. The customer service has always been good and prompt. The rent has been reasonable. I am quite satisfied living here.

I have lived in Desert Lakes for almost 5 years and am very happy here. The manager, assistant manager, leasing agent, and maintenance staff are always on top of things and I am completely happy with every aspect of this community. I have never had a bad experience with any employee. Parking is a little tough but livable due to the other great things. The property is clean and well-maintained. The pricing is average for the area. It's a quiet community, no issues with any other residents, it's pretty quiet. Security guard at night is great as well, it brings an additional comfort level along with being a gated community. I highly recommend this community

Considering the part of Phoenix where this complex is located, this place is a solid “okay,” especially compared to other neighboring apartments. The good: They actively try to maintain the outside of the property. There are lots of cute stray cats that hang out around the complex (so—free cats). They do their best to send out notices in a timely manner; sometimes there are surprises, but they make an effort with communication. Maintenance is great and responds as quickly as possible, considering how much there is to maintain. Virginia was as helpful as possible whenever there were issues, including when I moved in. I lived at Desert Lakes Apartments for over one year. A former tenant actually referred the complex to me. I enjoyed living there and felt safe in the complex. The application process was smooth and easy. Maintenance kept the grounds meticulous, work orders were completed same day and the office staff is awesome!
