I have been at the fishersville location for almost 2 years now. Today I received a voicemail from Stephanie out of the Charlottesville location stating that I needed to pay $153 today or she was taking me to court. I thought how strange…. I paid my rent for December in full on November 28th. I always screenshot my confirmations (which displayed a balance of zero after I paid) I went back through my bank account to make sure that the full amount was taken out and sure enough the full amount was posted November 28th. So I called up to see what this $153 was about. She stated that it was a water bill from October. So I asked why wasn’t it on the balance for November, she then explained that it wasn’t added to my account until November 30th. So I said that was posted just 15 days ago, why are

Seeing this 2.8 rating makes sense to me now after trying to visit one of their properties in Williamsburg Va. Went by Kelton Station looking for information in person and this lady with a strong accent hands me a packet and tells me to go online for pricing. Keep in mind I’m there in person, but I guess 20 minutes until 5 means they’re closed and can’t answer any questions. If they treat potential renters like that, just imagine how they treat residents. SMH

Fraudulently claim carpet damage so they can charge tenants for it and avoid having to pay for new carpet. Me and a few other tenants are reporting this scam to the authorities. DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY ANYWHERE. They will rob you blind even if you are struggling. My husband and I lived at The Adams at Peppers Ferry in Christiansburg, VA for 4 years. We were good and loyal tenants. We were clean, quiet, and friendly neighbors. We had to leave our apartment in the 4th year of living at the apartment because my husband and I took jobs out of state. We could not break lease, so despite having a new mortgage, we continued to pay rent on an apartment we no longer lived in. THEN, as a part of the current political climate, my husband was forced out (fired by Elon Musk) of the federal government position we had moved for. I had an issue with my apartment and asked Director of Operations Melissa Christian to help me resolve it. Ms. Christian was very responsible and a pleasure to deal with. Ms. Christian called me the same day (after her work hours) to schedule a quick resolution of the issues. The maintenance team from the regional office arrived on time, they were very professional and courteous. The team addressed all the issues and went out of their way (including a trip to their warehouse 20 miles away from my apartment to pick-up some repair parts). I am truly grateful and pleased with the quick and efficient resolution. Many thanks to Ms. Christian and to the wonderful maintenance team!
