Dare Property Management

A basic service that property management should provide is answering calls of tenants, and generally being reachable. As others have said, Dare Management fails at this most basic function. All of the contact phone numbers they provide are not monitored, they all go to voicemail. The e-mail addresses that I have for them also do not garner immediate responses. My last interaction with them was because I was locked out of my unit, during normal business hours, and I didn't know how they assist tenants in this circumstance. I called two numbers and left voicemails, as well as sending e-mails to two different people. I received an e-mail response 4 or 5 hours after contacting them, advising that I could come to their office to pick up a spare key and then return it. I'd have loved to do this

If I could give this company zero star I would. Just like everybody else before me wrote, they are the worst Management Company I ever encounter. They never answer the phone, never call you back when you leave them a message, are rude, you need to open maintenance request couple of times in order for them to do anything about it, they have the building cleaned once 1 year!!! the gate is always broken, so homeless people can go straight inside our building (and we had couple of incidents). If you are a property owner stay away from this company; cause they expose you to (possible) future lawsuits by tenants with their unprofessional conduct.

Due to the actions of Dare Property Management my neighbors and I are currently living through our worst nightmares. This company should truly be ashamed of themselves for the unnecessary suffering they have caused us all and lack of action to resolve their problems.

They recently bought our apartment building and they have fixed the roof and planted new plants. That’s it. You cannot get a hold of them so good luck with that. And during the pandemic I had lost my job and my boyfriends hours were cut, we applied for rental assistance from the state and guess what? THEY WONT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. They are slumlords that hand out 3 day eviction notice. Their “emergency” number is their fax number. UPDATE!!! They have decided to answer my review 2 years too late but still currently living in same location and with proof of how well neglected they leave the building, they love making it seem pretty by throwing away your things that you keep by your door because they might want the new potential residents to see how lovely it looks outside while you pay $280

Worst management company ever. If you ever have an issue they never resolve it. First of all they don’t even answer the phone calls. You leave a message and they never get back to you. They stole my security deposit. They had told me multiple times that they had sent the check to my new address and 3 months passed and I never received it. Once I contacted them they told me to go pick up my check to their office. As soon as I get to their office they tell me that they won’t give me my deposit back and that I still owe them money. This company is a joke. Be careful with them.
