I’ve been living here for a little over a year now, and my experience has been great. The management team truly stands out—Vernne, and Celenia are amazing at what they do. They are incredibly kind, caring, and always helpful whenever I have questions or concerns. The maintenance team has also been excellent. Any issues I’ve had were resolved quickly and efficiently, which really makes a difference. Overall, this has been a wonderful place to live, and I’m very happy with my experience here. I would definitely recommend this apartment community to others.

My husband and I moved into Dakota Mills Apartments about five months ago, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience so far. The apartment itself is spacious with a beautiful, well-designed layout that feels both cozy and quiet—exactly what we were looking for in a home. The maintenance staff has been outstanding. They’re attentive, timely, and always professional and courteous. Any request we’ve made has been handled quickly and with care. The leasing staff is equally impressive. Everyone has been professional, and a special thank-you goes to Vernne, who guided us through the entire application process. Living at Dakota Mill Creek has been a wonderful experience. Management is incredibly responsive — every time I’ve reached out, I’ve had a reply within 24 hours. The office staff, Vernne, Celenia, and Allyson, are always warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The gym and pool are top-notch and always clean, and the common areas feel inviting and well cared for. The social gatherings they host are fun, entertaining, and really add to the sense of community. Overall, it’s a place that truly feels like home.

This property is very outdated but well taken care of and bug-free. Grounds are always clean and they are very strict on when/how trash should be disposed of and they do inspect parked cars for abidance with proper registration. The rent is expensive compared to similar older properties like this one but it is serviced by great public schools. Don’t expect the leasing office to be communicative, forthcoming, and proactive. It’s a no frill community — no luxuries, no extraordinary customer service, no superb tenant experience, and not a whole lot of transparency. For example water/sewer costs doubled in a single month with no logical and coherent explanation. The script the leasing office reads from states tenants are billed according to the meter reading — they stick to that script without
