I was a tenant for 2 years, starting in a 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath unit before moving to a 3-bedroom, 2-bath unit. Neither unit had a dishwasher, garbage disposal, or modern spray sink handles, making washing dishes difficult. Both units had flooding issues, but in the 3-bedroom unit my entire kitchen and back room would flood. The 2-bed had old, dirty carpet, very thin walls where you could hear neighbors arguing, dogs barking and running up and down the stairs, and police were called nearly every month. As a resident of this Ward 4 community I would like to say this property had potential until recent changes to management. I wasnt going to leave comment until I read a individual review that was close to my concerns as well . My Nana passed recently and im facing hard times having to cover the cost I notified management and let them know ill be paying late and willing to pay late fee . Today i woke up to charges for Disposal of eviction fee and a late fee so now I have to worry about burying a family member and covering a Disposal Fee . Its like im going through one thing and they just added more to my stress as if im not a vauled resident and didnt communicate my situation now I have to add $400 dollars to dispose eviction and $150 late fee not including me paying for a funeral . I submitted an application in last week of October and the manager is just calling me today 11/10/2025 to see if he can push through my application after I was told by Alyssa that my application was approved and that they were waiting to send move in cost and move in date. The fact that I waited weeks just to get conflicting information made me realize if I am already experiencing lack of communication and follow up now in the application process, I know for a fact it will be the same once I move in.

Ive been staying in this complex 3 years and I want to start this off with saying this is a safe and quiet place but I see a change in events that i fear will lead to this place being ran to the ground. They have made RACIST and PREJUDICE remarks about parents choosing to get their kids back to school items and pay their rent late or even not at all. People are drowning trying to keep up in this economy so it’s better LATE THAN NEVER! It’s not your job to police and preach to people about how they spend their money.
