From the beginning we should have seen the red flags. First time going through the process of applying for a loan. Our first agent wasn't "comfortable" with social situations and would take our information in pieces. After months of waiting we were told the agent had not acquired the necessary information needed to process our loan setting us back some months. We got transferred to another agent who spoke to us in person, apologized, and was cc in emails until approval. Fast forward to closing we were stood up due to miscommunication from their part and our packet was sent to the title company. RUN away from Cross Country Mortgage, specifically Hernan Mirales office in Edinburg. They will stress you out every step of the way, delay closing, and cost you money. We thought it might get better once the loan got into servicing, nope. Save yourself and go with ANY lender but CCM.
