Cove at Storey Lake by Lennar Homes

We stayed on one of the properties on the east side (The Cove East) and we had a great time. The house is clean and large enough for us. There was also a pool in the backyard which was inside a netted cover which was a nice protection against insects and gators, I guess. The location is perfect for all of the attractions and it is surrounded with restaurants and shops. There is also a nice large community pool. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the community pool. You'd have to bring extra paper towels, toilet papers and garbage bags though as once the initial supply has been depleted, they will not give you more. Will definitely come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the comfortable bedding to the well-stocked amenities—which made the stay feel relaxing and effortless. The host was exceptional: welcoming, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. They provided clear check-in instructions and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience.

At first the cove is wonderful. The houses/condos are amazing. The amenities are great for families. We had several issues. There were no lifeguards or anyone watching the pool. My kids and I had rocks thrown at us. There are not a lot of signs saying when things are open or closed. The food was ok but expensive for the size and wait. We had someone break into our condo at night and rob us. It was not isolated either. The cops said this happens every few months, breaking in the same way (through the back screen by pool) and taking only cash. We will not be staying here again for it was unsafe and not well managed.

Super fast to get to most parks. Lots of rooms. Rooms could have been cleaner, kind of disappointed with the $$$$ we paid. Pool was nice but a bit dirty and papers are coming up so hard to walk on with bare feet.

Loved this resort. Perfect for families who go to Florida often so don’t want to spend all their days at a park when this resort has almost all of what you could want. One thing I would change is the hours to which the pool and gym is open. Most people that are away and want to work out tend to want to get it done early in the morning (like 6-8am) and so waiting until 9 is super inconvenient and I would also have an arcade since there are so many kids that come here as well. Other than that though, I was a great pleasure to stay there. Thank you !!
