Courtland Towers

Would give zero stars if I could. Nonstop noise from the gym, from 5am to 11pm. Do NOT under any circumstances rent anything on the gym side of this tower. It's absolutely incredible that they put a gym directly under residences, with incessant banging of cable stacks, people dropping dumbbells, hitting and kicking punching bags, cardio machines droning, barbells clanging in racks....all inescapable, for 18hrs a day, like living in a construction site. They deceive prospective tenants when asked if the unit is above the gym, while being well aware that people living there cannot rest, sleep, or peacefully exist in their own homes. This is not just the floor immediately above, but several floors. I am kept awake until 11pm, awakened at 5am, and can't possibly work or relax in what is suppos

I wanted to share how disappointed I am with living at Courtland Towers. I have never ever complained about living in an apartment building but what we have experienced here is not okay. Issues are point out below: 1. Our apartment is close to the gym (although 4 floors above it) and we hear banging from weights dropping constantly throughout the day -early morning and late into the evening as well. 2. There are children who are constantly running around the apartment building and in the gym without supervision. 3. FOUR times there has been poop outside our apartment unit (dog? kid? no clue). The biggest issue with this is that management saw no issues with this and it clearly has not been addressed as it keeps happening.

I lived here for two years, starting in 2023. Overall, I was very satisfied with the balance between the quality of the apartment, the rent, and the location (about a 3-minute walk to the nearest station). In particular, when I renewed my lease after taking over the original contract, the rent increased by only $80, which I found very reasonable. The response from the maintenance team to equipment issues was also extremely quick. The service at the front desk was generally good as well (though it may vary depending on the staff member). Additionally, I appreciated that my full security deposit was refunded after I moved out, which showed their fairness. I feel very fortunate to have lived in this building. Extremely terrible hospitality. The middle aged guy that works at the front desk is extremely rude and racist. Yelled at the kids and yelled at grown women. No respect at all for the residents that live here. I don’t think I’ll be re-newing my lease because this happened more than once. I don’t want to live in a place i feel uncomfortable in.

I have lived in this building since December 2023 and have moved to another area. I feel very upset because my circumstances forced me to do so. I would like to thank the management and staff, especially Viktoria and Robyn. They were extremely kind to me and were like family to me. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for everything they have done for me, and I hope to live in their building again.
