MILITARY PERSONNEL BEWARE! I do not recommend using this company. I am active duty military and decided to sell my house to my tenants and we closed through this company. I did not get a chance to view the documents prior to the notary public getting to my house so upon viewing the documents there were a lot of fees that I did not agree with. They were recommended by my buyers loan officer Citadel. I decided not to sign until I spoke with them about the numbers. They took a $400 escrow for the water bill and I assumed that since they knew my tenants were buying the house I would get my escrow back. Not only did I not get my escrow. They didn’t give me back the over $1400 for the buyers home warranty that they included as my closing costs and they also took $62.50 out of my remaining escro

Courtesy Title have pleasant staff to work with but who in my experience don't think before they act. They foolishly used a $200 escrow of mine, as the seller, to pay a water bill for the tenant. The title company had ample security from the tenant that I as the seller had transferred to the title co. The bill was in the name of the tenant and would have been easy to pay from security if the tenant refused. Instead they used my security which helped the buyer of the property and the tenant get a free water bill payment and I'm cheated out of $200. The title company also doesn't return calls. If you're a seller keep away from this title company.
