CountryPlace Mortgage

I have not had a problem with country place mortgage. I have my manufactured home through them for about a year now. But I am set up for autopay and I haven't really had to call customer service until recently. Everything seems good with my mortgage but I have a question that no one's able to answer and that's the part I do not like. Who do I need to talk to to get permission to move my manufactured home to a different location? I have a chattel loan with country place mortgage.

My experience with CountryPlace Mortgage was deeply unsatisfactory and raised serious concerns throughout the process. I delayed writing this review in the hopes that over the past few months since I would hear better reviews and this was a one - and - done mishap, but it is important to share my experience even if it is a few months late. On the day of my client’s scheduled closing, my attorney had still not received the necessary contracts. I was notified by the loan officer—less than one hour before closing—that the documents had not been sent. This last-minute disclosure was both unacceptable and unprofessional. David Dorough was my loan officer. He was awesome, even after all the hiccups through the mortgage process that stared in February of 2025, and finally closed in November of 2025, he done a fantastic job of wrapping it all up and closing was a breeze. I would recommend anyone buying a manufactured home, seek out David Dorough, he is fantastic!!!!

This mortgage company is extremely frustrating when trying to request payment from insurance checks that they insist on withholding for months! I should not have to be blowing their phones up and constantly emailing for them to do their jobs! The lack of Competence to do their job Is wild! they request information from me. I send it within a timely manner just to find out they never reviewed it and said they never received it. I then sent screenshots and receipts of sent emails and responses from employees saying they received it the day it was sent even though they said they never received it! I now have the Roofer threatening to put a lien on my home because the mortgage company will not release the funds, even though inspection has been done and approved!

I would NOT recommend Country Place Mortgage to my worst enemy! Started the process of placing an claim for an much needed roof replacement threw the insurance company in May 2025. Insurance company came threw. CPM recieved the payment and only allotted half to be sent until proof of work being done. I've sent everyone in their office multiple emails with all required information and pictures. I requested the remainder of the insurance funds and absolutely no response! Perhaps they would prefer to deal with an lawyer.
