Foul Odor, Active leaks, and Unresponsive management drove us away. My sensory-impared husband rented Unit 106. Upon my arrival I was hit with a heavy dampness entering the unit. A strong odor, alternately marijuana and mildew, was ever-present in the few days we stayed. Visible signs of previous water damage were present, though inadequate attempts had been made to cover them up. Inside the walls was the loud hissing of open valves failing to shut. As if these were not enough, there was NO hot water. Yes, cold showers. Animal hair and disgusting debris was left to pollute the utility closet. Issues were reported immediately, 3 times. Do not live here. I have unfortunately been here for almost 6 months. Every time it rains, which is very frequently, water has made its way through my back door into my kitchen. It has made mold appear all in our walls and around the base boards. Our walls are falling apart and we can barely use our dining area due to the smell of mold. My husband and I have called the office multiple times over this period and they have done absolutely nothing to mitigate the issue. After 5 months of constant calling, they FINALLY sent roofers to "fix" the issue, yet we are still experiencing major leaks in our door. We are still trying to get the mold and leakage taken care of. The people in the office always say "oh, I am so sorry about that we will try and send someone out" and NOBODY ever comes to che

I enjoyed my time at Country Oaks. It is small and quiet, and conveniently located in Hixson. I worked downtown and the transit was easy and I never hit any traffic. The apartment was newly renovated and was very spacious. I only had a couple of issues when it rained a lot as it was on the first floor, but other than that I never had any major issues. They're managed by Bluestar Properties and Suzi in the office along with the maintenance crew are fantastic! They are all very friendly and were always prompt in any requests I had during my stay. I would have renewed my lease if I had not moved out of the Chattanooga area.
