UPDATED REVIEW: I’m even more disappointed after seeing management’s public response to my original review — because it is factually incorrect and misleading. They stated that my apartment would have been “empty” at the time of the incident based on a supposed December 20th move-out date. This is simply not true. My lease ran through January 1st, and I did not move out until December 26th — meaning all of my belongings were still inside the unit when their team was working in the building on December 22nd. What’s even more concerning is that their own team contacted me on January 2nd asking if I had successfully moved out after I returned my keys directly on December 26th, which clearly shows they did not even have an accurate understanding of whether I had moved out. I recently toured Peachtree battle while apartment hunting in Atlanta, and I have to say it left a lasting impression from the moment I stepped into the leasing office. I was greeted by Alexandra, who is both incredibly warm and welcoming. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and a wonderful tour. The property itself is gorgeous and has a time of southern charm to it with beautiful landscaping and elegant architecture that feels both classic and fresh. The interiors are thoughtfully designed with spacious floor plans, and modern finishes, but really stood out to me where the amenities and the pool area is my favorite because it was tucked away like a private oasis. this is my 3rd lease here, I’ve seen all of the changes and was reluctant to move completely because of the changes, but I’m so glad I decided to stay and transfer units. I love my new unit, it’s cozy and safe. sarah has outdone herself going above and beyond with communication and also making this christmas at the community special. definitely recommend

TLDR: Change is uncomfortable. Progress takes time and patience. Cortland has us on a steady uptick. I was a resident here on my 2nd lease before Cortland took over. While the last group was incredibly friendly and personable, I could write a book on why the property was a disaster. Office managers never lasted more than a month or two, we basically had ONE maintenance man who was working ridiculously long hours, the pool was never open for the whole summer and the grounds were disgusting (maggots all over the recycling room level disgusting). For the most part, we've had consistent staff over the last year, with a few leaving to move up within the company. Everyone has been friendly, kind and helpful. I’ve been living at Cortland Peachtree Battle since April while my house is being renovated. Honestly, I wasn’t looking forward to apartment living again — the last time I lived in an apartment was back in 1989 in New York City! But it’s turned out to be a great experience here at CPB. The leasing and maintenance team does an excellent job keeping the property, amenities, and landscaping in top condition. Whenever an issue comes up, they respond quickly and professionally. My dogs had to adjust to community living — trading a backyard for shared green spaces — but it’s worked out well. There are plenty of walking areas throughout the property, and the pet waste stations are conveniently located. For longer walks, the quiet neighborhood streets behind Cortland PB are a nice bonus.
