Cortland on South Eads

Just finished 5 years at The Paramount, and I am a huge fan! (I'm only moving out because I am leaving the area.) The apartments are large, the location is great, and the management team is incredibly professional and responsive. As for the maintenance team, I would give them 6 stars if I could! They were always very responsive and had a smile on their face every time. They work hard to keep the building in tip top shape. The building is quiet inside (I rarely heard my neighbors) and the residents are very nice. I would absolutely live here again!

Latese is a phenomenal Property Manager. Shout out to the greatest Maintenance Team Sterling and Sosa. This is an older building but they keep it running like new. The close proximity to metro, entertainment and restaurants is great, however, I continue to stay because of the amazing caring team we have here. Always friendly and very professional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have lived here since 2002. Love the building, location, location, and location. Only 135 units so not so tremendously crowded as other newer buildings. You can’t beat the square feet compared to other newer buildings. It’s been very pleasant and I don’t want to move!!!!! Businesses, eateries, entertainment and hotels all within reach not to mention any and all types of stores, services and great restaurants. Crystal City/National Landing has built up and refreshed. Small building, great community. Urban and city life definitely.

5 star staff, 4 star building Pros: Great staff, no pests, straightforward payment system, consistent utilities, rapid maintenance response, good location right by the metro and within walking distance of several grocery stores Cons: Older building, smaller gym My husband and I have lived at the Paramount for 4 years. As far as the area goes, this is the best deal around for cost per square foot. You never hear neighbors through the walls. There's always going to be noise from cars in the city, but otherwise the building is pretty quiet which is a huge plus. Most of the apartments have been renovated, the cost of parking and pet rent is reasonable, and especially this last iteration of the staff have been great! LaTese has been an excellent manager. I would like to start by Thanking the staff at The Paramount, for their exceptional professionalism kindness and awareness. We lived here for 1 year but at the time of renewal we had to make a tough decision and move back to the Midwest. Miss LaTese was always helpful with answering our questions and assisting with overall requests. The maintenance staff was always prompt and courteous and very mindful. The daily cleaning staff always had the halls, lobby and corridors looking and smelling clean. The Paramount was not our first choice when moving to Arlington, yet we found it on a whim and so glad we did. Overall our stay here was a 10/10 experience. We loved our neighborhood and surely will miss it.
