I’ve given this community and its staff so much grace and patience however, reading the reviews I don’t know if I should feel relief that it’s not just my apartment that they neglect or sad for all the residents who live here. The request are never outlandish. Example 1. Every time they attempt to come into my unit they call me to tell me they don’t have a spare key. I’ve went as far as calling corporate to have my locks changed because they “don’t know where my key is”. Even after replacing my locks they still misplaced the key. Then, the lady in the office lied to me to get me to come back to the property in a hurry because of their mistake. Very untrustworthy people. Example 2. The only good customer service that I’ve received has been from Sandra— She’s very understanding and helpful! She helped me from start to finish on my recent move. As for everyone else, There needs to be a reinforcement of customer service skills. Very bad communication, and lack of empathy. Do better Cortland!

My husband and I were newly weds and picked Cortland as our first home. We absolutely loved it from the interior to exterior of the apts, the amenities as well. We were so happy we had found a spot for us. After a week of living here the problems started. Talia the manager had started to give us problems, she had sent us an email regarding to a disruption in the pool and immediately pinned it on us. My husband went to speak to her at the front office to clear up the misunderstanding but she wouldn’t believe us. Until they checked surveillance. Outside looks great. Outdated units. Drab and little natural light.There are brand new complexes all around here for the same and less cost.
