Cortland at Armour Yards

I grew up in a neighborhood where two kids were kidnapped and went missing but I would rather live back there again then here at Cortland Armour Yards. It is nonstop construction for the last year which runs just about everyday and sometimes Sunday. There is constant noise from the construction, loud yard work that starts as early as 7am, and a lot of non Cortland workers constantly roaming around the building "working". Front gates are constantly broken and the safety gates to enter the building are often times broken, leaving a very unsafe environment. The garage allegedly was repaved and resealed but you still need Noah's ark to get through the garage when it rains. There is constant trash everywhere including hallways and garage. Team has been great thus far, answering all my questions or requests. Reece on the maintenance team has helped me out quickly a couple times now. It’s nice to know people like him are around to help in the community.

Do Not Move Here This place is a money grab. No free visitor parking, you have to renew your own parking each year and pay a new fine. Unnecessary uncharges on things that shouldn’t be. Today I was charged $175 because my trash bin wasn’t inside by 8 Am, even though the office doesn’t open until 10 Am. This was my first “offense” and instead of a verbal warning they charged me. They find ways to make money off of anything, which takes away the feeling of comfort in your own “home.” There are so many other better options. With kinder leasing staff that actually answer the phone when you call. They’re gonna respond to my post and say they’ve told us in emails to have trash bins inside by 8 Am. I’ve been at Cortland Armour Yards for about a month now, and I couldn’t be happier! The property is beautiful, and my newly renovated apartment feels fresh and modern with top-quality appliances and fixtures. I’ve noticed they’re updating the common areas too (the hallways were just repainted), and I’m excited to see the improvements continue. The staff is friendly and responsive, maintenance is always quick, and the amenities are spotless and well cared for. The community feels safe, welcoming, and truly like home. Highly recommend!
