Corner Grove Apartments

My experience with Corner Grove Apartments has been incredibly disappointing. I originally applied for a one-bedroom unit and was approved on the week of November 20th, 2025. About a week later, I reached out to the management staff for next steps, understanding that it was around the holiday season — but from that point on, I experienced nothing but two weeks of being given the runaround. Communication was nearly impossible. Emails and phone calls went unanswered. When I finally did get a response, I was told via email to resubmit my income documents for reprocessing, which I did immediately. Have been living at Corner Grove apartments for about 18 months. Worst building I’ve ever lived in. They don’t take care of the building They don’t have the property de-iced like they should They charge 35$ a car for parking just to give out too many so there aren’t enough spots and on top of that, they don’t enforce un permitted vehicles and they leave dumpsters and trees in the lot taking up multiple spots for weeks at a time They try to enforce certain policies but won’t enforce others even when constantly asked to Mail has been stolen from the mailbox’s and the office refuses to look at the cameras and has been almost impossible to contact The maintenance team is trash and none of them speak English. Living in Corner Grove 2-bedroom unit for two years so far and overall have a great experience. The building is very quiet, which makes it easy to relax and feel at home. One of the things I really appreciate is the keyless entry system—super convenient and secure. The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious, with enough room to spread out comfortably. Having a dedicated parking lot is also a big plus, especially in a city setting. The office staff is always friendly and helpful—especially the new woman at the front office, who is approachable and makes any tasks feel easy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a peaceful, well-maintained apartment in Mount Airy.

Booked a tour, they confirmed it and ghosted me after traveling from OUT OF STATE. Ridiculous and looks like a project building anyway in person and smells. How do you waste working people’s time like this? Waited thirty minutes for nothing. Someone let us in and said the office isn’t even in here and another lady was waiting for her tour here too. I would say a lot worse but save your money!

Love my spacious unit. The building is so peaceful, making it a perfect retreat. The move-in process went off without a hitch—everything has been smooth sailing!
