When u complain about their tenant's the customer rep told me she didn't care and to call police. What a way to manage a property. Who pays people to manage property who cant control their tenant's that's a nuesome to the neighborhood? tentants before the current ones had all their stuff put on lawn, yall sure know how to pick great tenant's!!! Looks like all they got is bad reviews!!!!Hope someone who has rented has reported them , seems like a complete fraud of a Property Management business. I've rented from Columbia Property management for 3 years and they are wonderful people to deal with.

Not only did Conrex keep my security deposit and try to blame all PRIOR damage *that I reported and photographed/noted during the walkthrough before I even moved in*, they sent me a bill for over $12,000! When they sent me the large packet in the mail, every cost of damage was listed and pictured and I couldn’t believe what I saw: they were the damages reported prior to move in! I even disputed it and forwarded the e-mails and photographs that were sent in prior to walk through. THEY REFUSED TO ADJUST THE BILL WITH THIS PROOF! We were even charged for the damages caused by the horrible contractors they hired if we were lucky enough for them to even respond to maintenance request. I rented from Conrex for 2.5yrs. When I first moved in, the house was not cleaned nor did I have gas for heat/cooking or to bathe. It was October 31st so the temperature was in the 40's. I spent 2hrs cleaning before we could move any furniture in. As for the gas, Spire and the fire department could not turn on my gas because there was a leak that was never fixed before I moved in. I had to buy electric heaters, an electric stove top and a water jug to make it through the weekend until the office in Irondale opened. The house also was not wired properly so plugging too many things in tripped the power off. I was a good tenant in my 2.5yrs. Conrex Property Management is amazing at being fake. They will treat you amazing till you sign your name on the X. Then, the don't care if there's a leak from the exhaust fan in the bathroom or the fact that water is coming out of your HVAC filter. Black mold you ask from the leak in the bathroom, it only took well over a year to get it taken out. Only to live now in a house that all the black mold has been removed but never put back together. Yeah, bare studs for over a month now. This company is a sad representation of what pathetic laws protecting the landlord leads to. Even if you get in contact and do all the right steps to put in a work order, you still will get no where. There is a 50 page contract that you will have to sign that includes tenants waiving their rights to Class Action Lawsuits. That is why the common complaint here is security deposit theft. I was a victim to that tactic. Conrex Properties prey on people from out of state and others who have bad to average credit. I was charged $2800 for the repainting of the entire house. Contact the Better Business Bureau and lodge complaints. That was the only way I was able to get $900 knocked off and still have not gotten a dime back from my deposit. Conrex is an example of why corporations should be banned from residential properties.
