I can't believe these slum lords are still in business. We dealt with them in 1993-1995. They were awful scammers. A few years after that, a coworker had do deal with their crap when moving out. Crappy rundown apartments, totally unprofessional liars. Don't rent from them.

Fred (manager) is unprofessional and rude in what he says (snide remarks) and does, from the very beginning. Living in the apartments was not worth the inner city location or relatively cheap rent because of his nastiness or the problems I had with the place. I was trying to sign a lease with them and he did not budge on a time I could come in to sign it. My heater was broken for 2 weeks upon moving in during the winter, and they were not willing to deduct any money or even show empathy. They are definitely more work to put up with than 'the location'. Rents not even that much of a pro. They make you sign a form that says lead may be present in the house. There is bad insulation - cold breeze coming through the cracks in the windows. Its just not worth the hassle. They make you pay

This was my worst living situation ever, and i used to live below grant park which was better than this place. Awful up keeping, mice in the apartment, constant leaking through the floors and ceilings. My fridge was said to be in a working state as i moved in, and i lost all of my groceries to the "new" fridge being broke. They did not reimburse me for my groceries, no apologies nothing. As a way of "fixing" things around the apartments they would just paint over cracks and holes in the walls. DO NOT waste your time/money here. Very rude business

Seriously horrible. Bottom line: DO NOT RENT WITH THESE PEOPLE. Ready for details? When I moved in, it took a week for them to deliver the new fridge which was supposed to be installed the day before move-in. The mailbox lock didn't work and it took 2 days for them to fix that. After that first week of my time here, management has failed to respond to ANY maintenance requests. When I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe the answering machine is broken I was told "The answering machine works just fine." Not comforting. Like how a wasps nest was built on the outside of my window over the weekend to where I couldn't get my window shut and even a week later nothing had been done or said. Finally I broke it off myself. Fred is the worst property manager I have ever encountered. No response to work orders,rude, and all around unprofessional. The apartments are old but they have charm, would be a nice inner city spot if not for the incompetent management staff. When Connie Rose died this place went to hell.
