Community Association Management

My Association has worked with Community Association Management (CAM) located in Pleasanton, CA for several years now. Our HOA manager, Sergio Santillan, has been easy and excellent to work with over the past few years. He took over for our first manager at the end of that manager's tenure. Sergio is a stable manager you can count on always! With his attention to detail being one of his many strong attributes. As with most HOAs, he has guided us through the tough times with raising costs that many of us all face, and has driven us back to better management with consistency of srevice provided. About an year ago, our HOA Board selected CAM as our new HOA company. That was one of the best decisions we have made as a board because CAM actually did all the things they said they would as a management company. CAM setup a dedicated webpage for our sub-division homeowners and made several people available to help our community switch accounts to the new company. This made the switching process very smooth. In addition, every homeowner email or phone call was answered in a short period of time and their question answered satisfactorily. It's funny because of all the businesses I thought I'd write a review for, I never thought I'd write one for an HOA, as they tend to be a receptacle of constant complaints. Apathy, cost-cutting measures at the expense of the homeowners, questionable quality of the work from their chosen vendors, or treating you like a second-class citizen if you choose to rent out your unit instead of residing there (I had to relocate) -- I'm sure a lot of you reading this can relate.
