Commerce Park Apartments

My husband Tyler and I had quite a journey when we first moved to Harrisburg. We actually went to the wrong apartment complex first! But that turned out to be a happy accident, because when we finally walked into Triple Crown Commerce Park Apartments in January 2025, Rachel, the property manager, welcomed us with open arms. We’d accidentally set up a tour elsewhere, but Rachel didn’t miss a beat—she listened, laughed with us, and immediately showed us around. Rachel showed us both a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom unit, and we fell in love with the one-bedroom. We applied right away and moved in by April 2025. This place is by far the shadiest complex I’ve ever lived in. They were so concerned with getting people living there they did a half ass job with everything, paint drips everywhere on floor and bathtubs and counters, nails throughout the carpets, nails all over the deck, doors not put on right , floors are wavy, the list goes on. The amenities we were paying for weren’t even completed upon move in date, they lied about multiple things before move in that if I would have known I would have never moved in. Also don’t get me started on the property management staff, they are rude, they lie, they refuse to respond to any of your emails, I don’t know how they still have jobs because they are not good at it. Let me preface this with some relevant info: I first toured the complex before it opened in early January, received the misinformation in the screenshotted email attached roughly a week later, and they’ve known that my move-in date is April 1st. I really wanted to rent from this place, but after my customer service experience I don’t think I should be giving them any money. Attached is a screenshot of what I was told. I called around a month later to follow up and I was told by the same person that the information wasn’t true. I would be less frustrated if she didn’t try to cover up the mistake, being reluctant to admit that misinformation was given, and being quite rude in her tone on top of it all.
