Columbia Gardens Apartments

Believe the reviews, that's what I'll say. They dragged my and my kids through the mud with false hope, and yes they do have attitudes in that office. They made me drive from portland and back with kids in tow multiple times for a whole week to "make corrections" and basically told me i needed to lie on my application and then gave us the finger. We don't have the time to waste, but they sure did. Cold, and made me quit college to get into their apartment just to turn us down. You guys are the worst.

We moved out of these apartments over a month ago, on September 30, 2025, from apartment K114. When we checked out, they walked us through the rooms and we signed everything. There were no comments and they told us they would return our deposit will ready in in three days. We arrived a little later for our deposit and were told we wouldn't be getting our deposit back because we found damage (after we had already walked through the rooms with the manager) and we had to pay them $410 for the kitchen cabinet and the wall where the TV was (there were patched-up holes from the TV, and we hadn't noticed them before). They also charged us $50 for moving out on October 1st (but we moved out on September 30th and signed the checklist on the 30th). We said there was already damage to the kitchen cab

You have the worst management team, my daughter was trying to find a place, they led her to believe all was good, waiting for a month already, the blond lady was extremely rude to my daughter twice, saying we came in and was rude to them, we were not rude whatsoever. They talked my daughter to move into a 4 bedroom since the price was within her housing voucher. Then just 2 days ago they all of a sudden told her she didn't qualify. You need to get management that know how to treat people with kindness. If I were you, I'd replace the ones you have there. They're horrible, and can't even apologize since they said it was a misunderstanding. Just horrible!!!!

Don't move here if you have children. The children are not allowed to throw a ball, use sidewalk chalk, use squirt guns, Or do anything for that matter. The only thing there is for children is this tiny little baby park so if you have children that are over the age of 4 they will be miserable here. The manager is the most ridiculous by the book rule enforser you'll ever meet in your life. I've been treated so poorly since I've lived here. My complaints that are serious are ignored but little stupid stuff like too many plants on my porch is constantly being brought to me. You can't have flowers or plants surrounding your porch because they think it looks tacky. Oh and there's NOT ASSigned parking for people who live here so MOST the time there's nowhere to park and the mangee will tow you

Getting management to answer the phone is impossible. There is no emergency maintenance line for weekends or after hours. My smoke alarm and been sounding, not chirping for over 4 hours now and I can’t get ahold of anyone. I can’t tamper with them or I risk paying $250 per alarm. Absolutely ridiculous! Getting ahold of corporate? Nope. They just send all messages back to the leasing office. They literally list their after hours number as (999)999-9999 and note on there to call 911 for emergencies. Sure rent is cheap and the property is self is nice, but honestly sad how hard it is to get any help with situations like this. Guess my alarm just gets to go off all day and night until they return to the office tomorrow and HOPEFULLY address this issue.
