Colonie Apartments

I haven’t moved in yet, but I have to say Janel has been outstanding. I’m moving to the area from out of state , she made this so easy & seamless, she followed up with me , she was so kind , so helpful & genuine. I am so grateful for her level of customer service and level of care. It speaks volumes about this complex. I am excited for my first home in the Buffalo / Amherst area to be at Colonie Apartments.

I would definitely live here again (just renewed my lease too). All of my comments are based on my apartment building and the people I share it with. Goods: quiet, friendly neighbor (my neighbor deserves neighbor of the year, when he sees a package for us he would help us bring it to our door) the location is nice, right next to campus and everything is fairly close (Wegman, Bj, restaurants). Also next to the highway if you need to go to south campus or anywhere else. Maintenance team responds really fast as well usually I get a response the day of or day after I put in a request. Unit is pretty big, a lot of storage space (you also get a storage room out in the hall). There’s a patio if you want to bring a chair out and enjoy some sun. First off I just want to say that colony apartments have been a blessing to me and my family. The management is very friendly and helpful when you need something done or fixed in your apartment. I never had to wait more then a day to have a maintenance guy come and fix something it was always right away. Laura the manager in the office is very nice and helpful when anything goes wrong with your apartment! Also the pricing is very affordable and the place comes with great perks. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a clean and safe environment.

I lived here for four years and absolutely loved it. The place is super quiet, safe, and really comfortable. The neighbors are friendly and respectful, which made it feel like home. The landlord is awesome—really kind and always quick to help if anything came up. The room had everything I needed and was always well taken care of. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, hassle-free spot to live.

My experience at Colonie has been amazing! Everyone is really friendly and helpful. The apartment is very spacious and maintenance is quick anytime I need them. Close to the university and the gym is nice, so I do not have to go far to workout which is a plus!
