Colonial Manor Apartments

I initially posted a glowing review of this complex when I first moved in 4 years ago while pregnant, the courtyard and pool are clean, other tenants are very friendly, and I felt it was an appropriate place to raise my incoming son. 2 YEARS ago, I suffered a DV incident in which my abuser broke into my bedroom and bathroom doors which have still yet to be repaired/replaced Since then, the property manager Angelika Gebhardt has harassed and argued with me via text several times even after business hours. She has also served me with a lease violation for my son’s toy car kept outside my door, and when I confronted her about other tenants having personal property outside their doors as well, I was told “they have lived here for 20 years” so there’s also obvious favoritism going on. We came for a tour and we were really considering moving in. We applied and wanted to view the property one more time before officially accepting the lease. We walked around and really liked the place. On our way out, we moved the fridge to check behind it, and we found a ton of little roaches!!!! Not just one. Maybe 6-10. We were sooo disappointed. We really wanted to move in here but we declined after finding the roaches. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!! They said they were going to fumigate the apartment but those roaches are very hard to get rid of in a big building. The manager seemed concerned and said nobody has complained of roaches but we definitely saw them. They ran into the walls after. Giving 2 stars because the manager was very nice. Just beware and check everywhere

Love these apartments! The grounds are kept immaculate. Friendly neighbors. Small complex. Manager Randy is on top of everything. Easy to schedule a visit for the handyman if you need one. Pet friendly. Pool is clean and lovely when the weather is hot! I was in it almost everyday this summer. Garage space too.

I’ve been living here for 2 years now and so far everything is great. The neighbors are nice and so is the neighborhood. The building is also pet friendly so they have complimentary waste bags in the courtyard. The pool is also a great bonus specially in the heat of the valley summers. The manager, Randy, keeps the building very nice and clean.

DON'T LIVE HERE! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT Just moved out of an immaculate apartment and charged me $300 to paint. Paint is part of normal wear and tear and it is ILLEGAL to charge for it. They prey on Latinos and people who they figure are too poor to get an attorney. Egregious billing of utilities and services throughout my year there. STAY AWAY.
