I lived here for right at a year. Had a great experience. Property grounds are kept up well. Never had any maintenance issues so can't speak about responsiveness. I paid my rent online so the only time I ever dealt with the leasing office was to sign my lease and give my notice. Neighbors were friendly and kids were respectful. Kids do play outside, which I think is great. Quite complex for the most part. I have two small dogs, and they never had any issues with any other dogs in the complex. The garbage dumpster is always emptied and any kind of move out furniture is gone in less than a week. The only negative was that in my remodeled unit there were no electrical plugs in the kitchen or bathroom. I did rent sight unseen so not anything that was purposively kept hidden. The units used to
Edit October 2023: I decided to update my review because the apartments are under new management and the consensus is they are doing much better than the management when I was there. My initial review applies to the old management. The old management deserves less than one star. Do not move here!!!! If you care for peace and quiet, or want to be able to get things done without the torture of loud music and building-vibrating bass, do not move here for any reason. There are people who play their music so loud in the parking lot that you can barely get any work done. With people working from home due to the pandemic, this is incredibly inconsiderate. They do this during the week when people are working. I have had to play my music to drown out the constant boom of the bass. I believe this
Maybe I should of read the reviews before I applied. When I originally acquired about an apartment , another complex was managing Colonial Court, then after getting them all the info they asked for, I called to check the status to only find out another complex is now managing it. So I ask the new complex what they need, they said it all transferred, I keep calling back daily to inquire the status to only be told they will call me back the same day. I still have not gotten a call back. But they have my fee money, but won't update the website on my status or Call me back. Now they are not answering the phone at all. Very unprofessional.
We talked to a lady on the phone who helped us apply for an apartment. The listing said the apartment was available in April and she said we could move in May 5. She told us we needed to come and sign some papers in person, so we booked a hotel and prepared to make the 7-hour drive to the area. A few days later (two days before our booking), we called again because we were expecting an email with more information and it hadn't come yet. At this point, she told us that the apartment was not available until July. This left us scrambling to find a new apartment in the area as we had already booked a moving truck and made promises to future employers. I don't know why they would lie to us. And to top it off, we paid a $100 application fee for this whole ordeal.
I saw online that they had an available unit, so I submitted an application, and more importantly paid an application fee, yet I was NEVER contacted about the status of my application, despite MANY, MANY calls and emails through their website. Their customer service is atrocious! If they treat applicants so poorly, imagine what an actual tenant under contract (lease) must be experiencing. UPDATE: After posting the above review, I received a call from the leasing office the following Monday, inquiring whether I wanted to apply. I APPLIED FOUR WEEKS ago, when I paid $56.95 for the application and processing fees! I could hear a man in the background, telling the leasing agent what to say. If he is in charge, why didn't HE get on the phone and discuss the matter with me? I requested my appli
