Colebrook Apartments

I lived here for only one month. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the unit they selected for me. Upon first look it looked great and had updated appliances. The same week I moved in crickets started to appear in my apartment. The longer I lived in the unit more bugs started to show up. From crickets, to flying ants, beetles, thousand leggers, spiders, and more. They had pest control come spray bi-weekly and the issue persisted. The solution they gave me was to put down traps to help catch and kill the bugs. I kept my apartment spotless and eventually I had to leave my unit early as I got sick of living with pests. For the price they charge they could definitely do a better job maintaining the apartments.

I can tell you now, most of the apartments don’t look like they do in those pictures. It’s really just a dump in disguise. Half of the outlets in my apartment have never worked, and maintenance has never been able to fix or replace them — they’re just dead or too loose to use. I’m on dishwasher #3 since moving in because they not only keep installing them incorrectly, they keep being low grade dish washers. My refrigerator is apparently not broken enough to replace, but the compressor is definitely on the way out, and I’d love if my food wouldn’t freeze so much. Not to mention, they keep raising the prices on the washers and dryers — it’s now $2.25 to wash and dry, each. You really want to pay $15/1600 for a two bedroom like this? Don’t rent here.

This place is great; (and I’m very picky)… easy, friendly, quiet, clean, very well maintained, and very accessible. Management very friendly and efficient…. I’m trying to come up with a complaint, but I can’t think of any! (and I’ve lived a bunch of places)! Maybe a step out patio or balcony would have made perfect. I highly recommend ! Colebrooks initially impressed me with its outstanding service, but unfortunately, the quality declined over time. I had to repeatedly visit the office to resolve problems, yet I consistently received false assurances. The final month of my stay was extremely frustrating, with staff members providing misleading information. Given the unreliable service and broken promises, I would be hesitant to return. Regrettably, my experience was overshadowed by dishonesty and unfulfilled expectations. Manager was never around when I need her always sending her staff . I wanted to resolve some of the issues I had with Colebrooks and never around to hear what I have to say. By far the best apartment complex I stayed at. Quiet, peaceful and people are respectful there. If i ever wanted to rent an apartment, Colebrook would be my first option! Thank you! It was a pleasure staying there!
