Cochran Apartments

I would love to move back one day! Lived here for 3 years. Awesome neighborhood.

We lived at Cochran Apartments for just over 7 years. We moved out a few years ago during the peak of the pandemic to be closer to family across the country, and we still miss living here and sometimes say we wish we hadn’t moved. Dijon was an absolute delight and we always enjoyed the quick chats with him. We got to know some of our neighbors on other floors very well. It was a very nice community, everyone watching out for others and their pets, type of building. I loved that it was a smaller building to allow that closeness. We never had any issues and the ones we did have, which was rare, was corrected in no time. I do from time to time look to see what availability there is, because we are planning to move back to the area next year but the place is always full, but I know the reason

I've been in this building for 30 years. More recently (I think since 2018) Dijon Jackson has been our resident Manager. He's been fantastic - keeps the building clean and nice, gets things fixed quickly and he's been respectful and kind to we tenants. I'm a fan and continue to be very comfortable living here. :)

From inquiry to move-in, my experience was seamless. The property manager was professional and responsive. Prime location in a walkable neighborhood, close to amenities and public transport. The building is well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment. Highly recommended for a hassle-free living experience.

Cochran Apartments was my favorite place to live in LA so far. Dijon, the property manager, does an amazing job addressing any concerns you might have, he's helped me into my apartment when I locked myself out (more than once), and he makes the place feel more like home with his set up of seasonal decorations and fun passing conversations. Move in / out was seemless and every appliance was working like new. Cleaned like new too. The area alone is enough reason to move in. Walking distance to museum, gyms, coffee shop, restaurants, boutiques, and grocers. The ceilings of the apartments are high and you don't feel cramped, even in an efficiency studio like mine. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Newer lighting fixtures make the room bright, and each apartment has a north/south f
