Clintwood Apartments

DO NOT RENT HERE. I lived at Clintwood Apartments for a total of 3 years. My first year was great, even though the walls were never painted before I moved in. I had asked for a second air conditioner to be installed in my bedroom and was told it would cost an extra $25 a month, which I agreed to. After six months, I realized they never cashed those payments, as a result, I used the extra money as a rent credit and stopped paying the fee. That same air conditioner slowly started dying not long after that first summer. Before the second summer (2024) began, I asked if I could get a new unit before re-signing my lease. That’s when Taylor, the property manager, told me they didn’t have any available, I would have to pay a fee, and that new units were too expensive. (Picture 3) Maintenance and

Victor and Taylor in the rental office are great. My apt was updated. Maintenance crew were expedient..kind..and professional. The pool was amazing and stayed open til 8 pm every day. It was great to swim after work. The landscaping is kept up well. The lawns well manicured and no garbage laying around. It is a bit pricey..I have a two bedroom but I've loved it here and highly recommend.

Taylor in the leasing office is very rude. As a 2 year tenant looking to renew my lease I decided not to after one interaction. There were no accommodations and I was walked away from in the middle of a conversation. I asked for her name to file an official complaint and had to jump through hoops. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. All of this after their maintenance failed to update the office on needing us needing a new gasket and dishwasher for the apartment. we waited 3 weeks for an update and we finally followed up on after no one reached out and were told that it’s our fault for not reaching out. It was not maintenance’s fault but the ball was dropped somewhere. I’m adding to this review as I was asked to remove my review while maintenance was performing work in my home. W

Our vehicle has been broken into and attempted to steal four times, asked the leasing office to tighten up the security and add more lights in the parking lots. She literally told me, “that’s too expansive”, but… meanwhile rent increases.That answer tells me a lot, I’m at home.. where I should feel safe.The leasing office staff does not care about their tenants safety. Staff in the leasing office are very unprofessional. If you want to feel safe at home, I recommend you not to move here.

I wish I could share a better review. But I will continue to review until they’re held accountable. I am the one who had major concerns with the apartment so I sent my notice to vacate within the lease required time. my friend whom I rented with wanted to live there again, but was told he could not apply on his own behalf. He was hung up on after asking for documentation that supported declination of even receiving his application. He was told our lease was violated and we faced eviction although we received our full security deposit back and a chance to renew. He was told that they would not want him living there although there was nothing wrong with the apartment upon move out (which they confirmed). It felt like discrimination and he said, and they instantly hung up. The management team
