Clear View Apartments

I currently stay at these apartments. It absolutely sucks to stay here. I can hear kids yelling from five doors down, Their paint is very cheap, they have poor customer service(they don’t even pick up the goddamn phone), and they overcharge for everything. I had a non-working toilet since September of 2025 and it wasn’t until two days ago that it was fixed. There are other residents who are so very unsanitary with their pets and when reported, the office does nothing about it. So when you’re thinking about moving, Clearview is not the place to go.

This is a budget friendly complex located in one of the worst areas of the KC region. With all variables considered, this is a decently quiet and affordable place to stay compared to other complexes in the same area. The new management team have been working hard to make and SUSTAIN improvements over the last year after previous management was unable to perform their duties at the most baseline level. Installation of the gate in late 2024 was a great step to making Clearview a more quiet and safe place to live after there were many disturbances and car break-ins. However, reckless individuals DO still exist and threaten the safety of tenants and the gate has been broken twice since the initial installation. I had an appointment to tour a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and I was stuck at the gate while cars wait. When I arrived the office was closed however, I did receive help from Danny; she placed me on the reminder list for once the 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom available. I hope the communication and the organization is better next time, if there is a next time.

Don’t move here, if I could give the property zero stars I would. My car window has been busted on the property 5 times with the most recent time being (08/06/2024). Each time I have called the office and the last 2 times I called corporate and no one cares. The residents and their property do not come first at all. The only thing they are worried about it making sure your rent is paid. Yesterday I called the office before it opened and left a message expecting a return call when it opened and no one called me back. I called again today and had to leave another message.

As a current resident, I want to share some of my experiences over the past four months to help prospective tenants make informed decisions. Pros: Partially Approachable Management: Some members of the management team are approachable, but this is inconsistent across all staff. Well-Maintained Grounds: The outdoor areas are kept in good condition, contributing to a pleasant living environment. Cons: High, Unfair and Unpredictable Utility Costs: My base rent is $905, but monthly utility charges are nearly $300 and continue to rise each month. These include fees for billing, sewer (over $100), property liability, trash, gas, water, stormwater, pest control, gate maintenance, and other hidden fees base on their billing method, Allocation 10. Electricity is not included and is billed separa
