We purchased a home built by Clayton Giles from Oakwood Homes in Greenville, SC. We purchased the Farmhouse Breeze home with 4 bedrooms and an extra family room. After living in the home 4 months, we decided that we needed to become foster parents to two little boys from the school that I teach at. In order to be licensed to foster, we needed our extra family room to be turned into a bedroom. Machala and the team at Clayton Giles worked with Josh, Jason, and Scott at Oakwood Homes in Greenville and figured out a way to make it happen for us! Terrible quality in production, drain pipes going in lnto the floor some have hole 2x bigger than the pipe because of miss cutting, holes for hot water pipe going into the attic looks like they just punched their fist trough, cracks appearing in ceiling overtime, mold frome poor shower head installation, in a single wide for 70k, which will be 160k by the time your done paying. If you want a house, then just get a house bro, they wont help u with any problems that they caused. I might add, I ordered at a home store and they built and delivered it, so you would think it would have been done right. Oh well it's too late now so I had to fix it myself isn't that crazy?!

The trailers look nice but once you get one and get moved in, you realize everything is cheap and poorly installed. My shower doesn’t drain properly, my cabinets are very thin and flimsy. I have friends who also have a holes made home and their cabinets are falling apart. The floors are chipping, and the base boards in my kitchen are coming off the bottom of the cabinets. I had to hire someone to fix the issues because the first time Clayton came, they didn’t fix anything. I’m replacing the cheap cabinets and flooring., next, the shower.

ARBITRATION LITIGATION,those are the words that you need to know first. Second they stole my trailer tongue and tires! The trailer tongue and tires are part of my home but yet they took them!! Making it impossible for me to move my modular if I wanted to! That is theft! I Have rated before. Wish I could give 0 stars or even a negative 4. My house begin to fall apart immediately here I am three years into my warranty and they’re already trying to send me off to my extended insurance to make a claim They do not disclose that you have to go through arbitration litigation to get anything back out of them especially if your having a problem with their company they do not do everything that they promised they’re going to do I’m still waiting on a sidewalk they never replaced my electric pole
