City Parc at Keller Apartments

We recently moved to City Parc Apartments in Fort Worth, TX after relocating from out of state. We knew this would be a temporary place, but unfortunately our experience has been disappointing. During our initial tour, we were shown a nicely upgraded apartment with features like updated door locks, thermostat, and appliances. However, when we returned for our final walkthrough, we were given a completely different unit with none of those upgrades. The toilet tank was cracked and appeared to be repaired with glue, the dishwasher was broken (it was eventually replaced), and the carpet was extremely dirty and covered in pet hair. Daryl and John are hands down the best maintenance team. My mom has lived there for a couple of years, and every time something happens, they show up quickly and get it handled right away. They’ve come to her rescue so many times, it’s honestly hard to even count. Knowing they’re there gives so much peace of mind. They truly go above and beyond and deserve recognition (and a raise!) for how amazing they are. A+++++!

I loved my apartment for the year that I lived there. I always felt safe, work orders were done in a timely manner, never had any major issues. However, moving out that changed. I’m not sure if management has changed, or what has happened but it seems like things started going downhill. My biggest gripe has been the move out charges. They’re charging me $395 in move out fees that are completely unwarranted. There are 3 total issues that I can see charging me for. 1) the microwave handle came completely off 2 days prior to my move out 2) paint touch-up ($150 charge for that alone) I put very small holes in the wall and patched all of them prior to me moving out. 3) the drip pans on the stove needed to be replaced because they wouldn’t come clean. From the very start of viewing this apartment over 2 yrs ago there were tons of wasps in the master bedroom and the leasing agent didn't know until we told her. We should've taken that as a sign to not continued with the lease agreement but unfortunately at that point in our life we didn't have any other options. I can go on and on about issue after issue, lack of caring, lack of communication, lack of professionalism, on and on and on. Since signing the lease over two years ago we've been through 2 property managers, now on #3. The second property manager tried her best to keep this community well maintained and deal with everyone's problems as they come up but it's just too much.
