City Heights Apartment Homes

If you enjoy peace and quiet please do NOT move here!!!!!!! These apartments are beautiful but made poorly. The walls and floors are paper thin. Since moving here my downstairs neighbor has continued to bang on the ceiling and call the police on me due to my family and I simply walking on the floor. We hadn’t even been moved in a day when the banging began. There is absolutely nothing I can do about the way the apartments are made. I have spoken with the office and even wrote emails about the harassment with no relief. They refuse to do anything about it and simply say it’s “apartment living”. On top of that the maintenance is slow to respond. I had a leak in my apartment due to the neighbor on the third floor filling up the tub and somehow it started to leak in the A/C vent in my bathroom

Everything was going quite nicely. Everyone in the office was polite everytime we interacted via phone or in person. I got through the application easily enough. And just for certain I'm going to get in because I do in fact qualify. Up until the animal part. I was honest and put yes and put her weight, 51 lbs. And just like that i'm no longer qualified. To good to be true. I hope that doesn't become a problem for others because nothing on their site says 30 lb limit. And nothing on their application asked if you have a service animal either.

I applied here in October. Because it’s a Low income property. I was referred to this place from my DV advocate. Misty said that I was denied by the “higher ups”. I submitted all documentation of me having to break my lease due to domestic violence. I submitted the protective order as well as a letter from my domestic violence advocate stating I was within my rights to break my lease due to domestic violence. They still denied my family housing. Under VAWA, someone who has experienced domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking. Cannot be denied admission to or assistance under a HUD-subsidized or assisted unit or program because of the VAWA violence/abuse committed against them.

Plumbing issues so far. They pick & choose who to wait on before filing when late on rent. New address still not populating in GPS making it hard to have things delivered & can’t have anything sent to leasing office. No where for kids to play outside. Lady in front office is kinda rude & the other isn’t very knowledgeable with important information. I moved in out of desperation & won’t be renewing my lease here.

I called to see if I could come in to get a tour or schedule an appointment and the lady on the phone said that they don’t do that. You see the apartment when you get the keys and that all we need is a money order! Now how am I suppose know if I like this apartment if I have to sign the lease first!! This is the worst apartment looking experience I have ever had so if you know you for sure are going to live there go ahead and sign that lease!!
