City Gate Apartments

I was helping someone find an apartment and went to a sister property meeting Derek. He was absolutely amazing. He referred me to City Gate as she was wanting to get close to downtown with affordable rent. We met with Brittaney and she was just as amazing. She was so friendly and helpful. You can tell she loves her job. She reminds me of the employees back in the day that actually cared about their residents and future prospects. The apartments are cute and had some nice upgrades. Needless to say, between Derek and Brittaney, an apartment was leased, and the resident is super happy:)

Not a good place, I put a 800$ deposit on an apartment, and then had to request a refund , I never moved in. It's been 3 months already . I have sent certified letters.Regular mail, email calls, texts, they have completly ignored me even blocked my phone number and ip addres. I can't count how many times I have tried to go to the apartments and the office is always closed. So the next step is court !!!

I live at city gate currently and this is my second year here and just recently the complex changed owners. They did a "refurbishment" to the property which painting the buildings all one color needed to be done but they removed all grass from the property and put in little white rocks to fill where grass once was so there's no place to take your pets to use the restroom if you have some. Next is we are in south Texas white reflects light and heat back at the buildings. My biggest issue is the maintenance I've had an AC leak for two weeks now made two work orders have talked to the management and nothing. Maintenance used to live on site but now they dont. You pay rent through an app which is nice they putting maintenance request in via the app sucks cause I dont think it even goes to anyo

As far as I can. Ms. Norma took a chance ,I was through alot that time . For personal reasons I had to leave immediately but.. this place was everything because of ms. Norma. N shes one badass lady I'm just sorry the way it turn out. But I appreciate her so much from the bottom of my heart.. she knows her shit💯💋❤🔥👌👍😎🌹

This apartment complex never answers their phones. Multiple messages were left over a month's time span and no call back!
