I am very pleased with the entire home buying process from start to finish. The house was surprisingly well-built and finished to a high standard. The construction manager, Matt, was very professional and knowledgeable. He did everything possible to make me feel comfortable in my new home! I’ve owned a Christopher Alan home for a little over a year now. I wish I would have went with a different builder after dealing with warranty and quality issues. It’s poor business not to cover issues that happened under a year of owning the home and were clearly documented within the first year of ownership, but reported 2-3 months after the first year. They warn you to only make 1 claim but if you fail to add anything in there after submitting, even if it occurred within that first year, they won’t cover it. They first said they would help with these items under “good faith” then used 2 different excuses to backtrack on that.
