Christian Manor Apartments

Christian Manor Apartments advertises itself as a “62 and older community offering a truly carefree lifestyle,” but from what I have personally witnessed, the reality behind closed doors is completely different. This feels like false advertising, and it breaks my heart. I have been to this community several times, and each visit I take time to observe my surroundings. This is a small senior community where many residents are barely surviving—struggling to pay for medicine and food, afford health insurance, and live with dignity. I have visited this place in the past and it seemed to be a lot better I used to have a security guard and the cafeteria area was more recreational now the yard seems to be well kept up but the insides of the building look terrible they don't even mop or vacuum water apartments have not been painted in over 10 years. The carpeting is old and torn. A lot of the laundry machines don't work.

Christian Manor needs a lot of work. I feel for the people who lives there because a lot of them cannot afford to move. I mean you don’t pay for utilities. I lived there for 3 years. There is a huge roach problem there, bed bugs and they will never clean your carpet once you are in there. Management has promised the tenants he would fix up the place and never does. I would only move there if I had absolutely no where else to go.

When I lived there it was terrible. Bugs and leaky roofs. Management did not help. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Parking lot has had an orange cone on one of the many pot holes for over a month. Asphalt needs resurfacing, back corner dumpster area is always a true dump sight. The door area closest to D bldg is very unkept. That hallway, the elevator and the second floor hallway are all very dirty. That hallway is not air conditioned, it smells like the carpet has never been cleaned. I wouldn't consider renting an apartment here. The low-income tenants here may have to settle for this low quality place out of need.
