I just completed my move into Chorus, and the entire experience has been absolutely seamless. I’ve lived in many buildings previously, but the white-glove treatment here is unmatched. Izzy gave me my initial tour, and it was so personable and special—it really made the building feel like home before I even signed. Marissa went above and beyond by checking in with me multiple times before, during, and after my move to ensure every detail was taken care of. From the first tour to finalizing the lease, the level of service has been incredible. The building is incredibly lucky to have them both on the team!
I lived at chorus for more than 3 years, from mid 2022 to late 2025. Pros: Nice building, good taste, friendly and responsive staff. Great amenities and views. We used to have Barry's-like gym classes for free by a highly proficient trainer. Units used to be more affordable than what comparable buildings would ask for - in a nutshell, great value. I personally liked the switch from a downstairs bar to a high-quality coffee shop. While the location didn't really have much to offer, it was well connected and easy to get to almost anywhere in San Francisco in 20 minutes or less with public transit or walking. Even though a few things have changed, I am optimistic about the current management as they learn the ropes. Cons: As some people mentioned, there were a few issues with the transition
UPDATE: photo added in case you're wondering what our windows look like as of 11/8 Chorus has some great amenities, residents, and opportunities for growth. Unfortunately, the building has new management who seem hell-bent on removing what was previously working well while struggling to handle the absolute basics. Everyone's windows are grimy, having gone from a 2x/year cleaning schedule to zero. Community events and culture / art classes that used to take place multiple times a month have all but disappeared. The local fitness trainer who everyone in the building knows and loves was suddenly and secretly removed without notice. One has to check bills like a hawk every month because incorrect charges like 2x rent will randomly appear. It's getting hard to ignore the dysfunction when it's
I was one of the first residents in the building when it opened and absolutely loved it but as as of mid-2025 and management changes, it has become a toxic place to live due to the management. I almost never post publicly but have had to resort to it because they don't respond to my emails internally when I raise concerns. 1) I was told not to take my dog outside to poop on COMMON sidewalks and to only use their filthy dog park and cited the gross sidewalks as the reason. I've always picked up after my dog (they watch you on camera so they have evidence of who does or does not) and they had no reason to pick on me for simply taking my dog out! 2) The leasing manager, Ian, uses the building to his personal benefits and kicked us out of resident common areas a couple of times citing reservat
Somewhat mixed reviews about this building. The building is nice, and it was always nice to come home to a smiling person at the front desk. Moved out recently and the process went smoothly and my deposit was returned more quickly than I've experienced with past rentals. That said, there are some issues with the building... I've never experienced so many fire alarms and the building WiFi went out fairly often without much explanation (or compensation). Another thing that kind of got to me is that some of the common areas (the Belvedere Room specifically) are rented out for private commercial parties at least once a month (which means tenants aren't permitted for a few hours, typically on weekend evenings)... The building shouldn't be renting out space that tenants pay a monthly amenity
