This was a disaster where Shalmarie Permenter got directly involved in the divorce negations on my ex's behalf and tried to lie and manipulate the situation to not have the debts against the property paid by the proceeds of the sale of the house because it was 'more work for her.' Even after I brought the documentation of the formal lien against the property to her, so she refused to do the most fundamental elements of her job. The company obviously backed her, and the sellers moved to sue. I'm still sorting out this disaster with my ex. Atrocious, illegal, and amoral.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Chicago Title (Lisa Mayfield) regarding a recent closing of a home loan. Our closing was not completed in a timely manner as expected. Despite all necessary documents and funds being in place, the payment was not made until nearly two months after scheduled closing date. This Significant delay has negatively impacted our credit profile, as the loan appeared delinquent during that period due to your failure to finalize the transaction as agree. This delay was not only a breach of professional responsibility but has also caused us financial harm and undue stress. I have made several attempts to discuss this matter with Lisa Mayfield even talked Cheryl Malcolm with little to no help in receiving a written expl

Shalmarie was great! All the documents were in order and selling my property was a breeze. She is very personable!

I'm a real estate agent and have used Lisa Mayfield and her staff at Chicago Title for many many years and i have to say they are absolutely superior to the others in town. They get things done quickly, sufficiently and all with a smile! If i can help it I would never use anyone else! They are a must if you want excellent service!

Overall the only thing that I have to complain about was the person dealing with our paperwork. I felt like she didn't care much for our stuff, got scheduled for a specific time to get everything done. Took a whole day off for it and couldn't get it done because she decided to hold off on finishing till day of.
