When I first found King Props., the reviews were terrible, yet I took a chance. It wasn’t anything I couldn’t work with and it was the perfect place for me. Their apartments and systems were a bit antiquated and I had to pay by check. But, they always worked with me on every issue I had right away. Then it went under new management, Chesapeake Props. and everything was much better yet: They’ve remodeled everything, and they’re online, so I could make electronic payments. But everything else was better too: communication, quick response and resolution, personalized service and friendliness. I felt like a valued tenant. And three and a half years later I was still happily renting with them, until I needed to buy my own bigger place. I could’ve/would’ve stayed downtown otherwise. I thank Liz

Please read!!! For those seeking to rent from CPM reading the negative reviews here, I too was hesitant. I took a chance, and it's been the absolute best decision. Rosie and Liz are always very communicative and solution driven. One of the biggest issues we faced was hearing the upstairs neighbors walking/talking in our unit. I voiced my concerns, and after a period of time, CPM came up with a solution to insulate my bedroom ceiling. It means a lot that they listened to my concerns and took them seriously. Any email or maintenance request I've submitted is responded to either the same or next day. I also had a leak from the upstairs units sink on a Sunday, and maintenance was sent out that same day to inspect/repair it. I can only speak from my experience, but I want to thank both Rosie an
