Cherry Court Apartments

The place is alright for its price but there's definitely things to be aware of. First of all, there's German AND American cockroaches. In the kitchen, in the bathroom, in your bedroom, crawling out of your sink... Secondly, maintenance is slowww. The all the communal washers have been broken since April (writing this in September). When I first moved in, the bathroom fan was broken and they said they'd fix it immediately and it took them several weeks. Third, your parking pass expires annually at the end of each FISCAL year. No reminders are given despite multiple opportunities to do so. I (regretfully) renewed my lease a week before my car was towed and parking passes were NOT brought up then. The rental company KNEW I was a resident and let my car get towed anyways and it cost me $180

I have been living here now for about 7 months. Most people are quick to leave bad reviews but forget to leave good reviews. I just remembered so here goes... I love living here!!! The neighborhood is nice and safe. The location is great because it is right off of Greenville Blvd. It is perfect for small families and grad/professional school students. It is very nice inside the apartments especially the ones where they repainted the walls and redone the floors. I learned that bugs are prevalent in Greenville but it is all about how you maintain your space. I had a roach problem when I first moved in but between the exterminator and my sprays/traps everything is fine now. There is no parking issue or loud noises. Overall, it's mostly calm and quiet. Bus stop close by, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as drug stores, Dollar Tree and Food Lion. Pet friendly. Nice, small pool. Biggest issue is limited parking by your apt. Ive lived here going on 6 years. The renovations done a few years ago really made a nice improvement except that without carpet, the noise echoes. I suggest keeping a small fan running to help block the noise in the bedroom, as well as keep the air moving as it gets musty at times. Never had a bug problem except with ants in the kitchen after a rain a couple times. Roaches I have never seen in my apt. Complex sprays for free if you let office know. I have lived here for two years. I feel like what I pay for rent is fair for a normal two bedroom, two bath apartment. The pool is usually empty- when my family goes it is generally just us. Quiet and safe neighborhood. My only complaints are that the buildings are on the older side and can get musty smelling if you don’t open the windows or use odor eaters.

I went in today to inquire about staying here and the front desk woman was so polite and helpful like this is the place I want to spend my money staying at. She was so knowledgeable about the apartments and seemed very genuine!
